"Hahahah!" cackled a voice filled with malice and anger.
"Wh-Why are you doing this to me?" screeched the little, old lady. She had just regained conciousness a few minutes before. She had no recollection of where she was or who was standing by the window just outside the light of the room's only candle. She could only see the silohette of what looked to be a man. Still there was something funny about his appearence. If she were in any other circumstances she probably would have figured out what it was.
She was tied to a rocking chair with some thick rope. There was no chance she could break it to get loose. The chair was very old though, almost as old as her. Her only hope of freedom lied in the chair failing. Every time she struggled against her bonds the chair would make a terrible creak. Still though it showed no signs of giving out. Even if she did her captor would probably notice the lack of creaking and turn around. He would easily be able to catch her. She hadn't run in years and he sounded in the prime of his youth.
"Why am I doing this? You really want to know why? I'm doing this to wipe out your entire family. None of you deserve to live. None! And pretty soon none will. Hahahah!"
"No... You're going to kill my granddaughter? Why? Leave her out of this! Whatever qualm you have with me, just leave her be! Please!" The woman began crying. He was going to kill her granddaughter and there was notihng she could do. She had never felt so helpless before.
"You killed my father, you stupid bitch!" The captor moved closer to her into the light. Now she could see what looked off about him. He wasn't a man at all. He was a wolf! "You were too stupid to realize he was high on sugar and wasn't himself. He had been clean or six months and had a relapse. He came by looking for your husband who used to be his dealer. All he wanted was some more sugar! That's it! And you shot him in cold blood with a shotgun! You're the monster here not me!" The creature was trembling in rage.
"You're right. You're right. Kill me. Just leave poor Jessica out of this," pleaded the woman. She was sure the wolf was going to rip her throat out at any second and she had to save her granddaughter.
"Heheheh, she's already dead." The wold started moving even closer to the woman, getting into position for the kill. The sides of his mouth were twitching in anticipation. Drool began leaking down the sides of his chin. He could already taste the sweet taste of her warm flesh. He was going to take his time though. She was the last of this cursed family. There would never be another after she was dead.
The woman filled with anger and sadness after learning of her granddaughter's fate, did the only thing she could; she spit right in the wolf's eye. "You're as crooked as your old man. You deserve to be slaughtered and eaten just like him!" All she could hope for now was that the wolf would make her death as quick and painless as possible. She began to say anything she could think of to make the wolf angry enough to finish her off quickly. "Wolf meat goes good with lemon and broccoli you know. That's how we cooked your father you know."
The wolf smacked the woman with his paw as hard he could. That shut her up. "Let's see if you make half as much noise as your precious granddaugter." The wolf mused.
By the time the woman came back to her senses the wolf had already began his work. She had no more thoughts of trying to get him to finish her quickly. To her there was nothing left but agony.
Out in the forest, no animal slept that night. Nothing could sleep through the endless shrieks of that old woman.

The Three Little Pigs of NIMH (part 2)
The sun was just rising on the horizon as the three pigs began their trek out of their campsite from the night before. Louie, as the smartest of the three, led the trio as usual. He didn't trust either of his brothers to lead afraid they find out they had marched in a big circle. Louie was also the first born and slightly taller than his brothers. He became the natural leader of their group with the other two instinctively following him.
Hughy followed closely behind his older brother. He was secretly afraid of every little noise or movement he heard. He didn't want his brothers to find out though. He would never outlive the misery they could cause him if they found out he was deathly afraid of bunnies and owls. The only distinguishing mark Hughy had was a small scar behind his left ear caused when a scientist came to work drunk and screwed up a simple physical when he was first brought to the center.
Dewey was once again lagging behind his brothers. He was the slowest of the three. The scientists always had to keep an extra eye on him due to his accident proneness. Since being outside though he came to realize his love of nature. He had already gotten poison ivy twice, been stung by bees atleast half a dozen times, and been stuck in a rabbit hole. Still nothing could ruin his curiosity.
They were all very anxious to reach their goal. None of them had ever known any family aside from each other and desperately wanted to meet their grandmother. They had heard this movie at the NIMH Research Center that said that Grandmother lived on the other side of the woods. Unfortunately they could only listen to it, the television was facing away from their cages. That was why they escaped though; the video said she was lonely so their long lost sister Little Red Riding Hood went out to bring her cookies. They were excited about the possibility of meeting her too.
They had been searching the forest for nearly two weeks and still they had nothing to show. Their hopes were still running strong. They knew that eventually they would find their family and all would be well.
This day luck seemed to be on their side. Just after thier midmorning snack break, Dewey noticed a little dirt path branchnig off from the one had been following for a few days. There was a piece of wood on the ground a few feet down the path so he went over to see what it was. It looked awfully strange in the middle of the woods.
SHORTCUT TO GRANDMOTHER'S HOUSE ------>
"Louie! Louie! Come here!" Dewey could barely form the words he was so excited.
"What did you find some more of those flying things to sting you?" Louie muddered. These constant interuptions to their journey were beginning to get to him.
"Umm.. I'll wait here Louie" Hughy wanted to stay as far away from those monsters as he could. They might be poisoness for all he knew.
"So Dewey, what is it that you found this time?" His eyes fell on to the sign. "Hughy you have to see this! Get over here! He found the way to Grandma!"
Hughy, ever the cautious one, thought this sign was more disturbing than anything though. "You don't think this is a little too convenient?"
"What? Maybe some nice guy put the sign up so we wouldn't have to walk around so much," Dewey rationalized.
"We don't know if we were even going the right way to begin with Hughy. This way is better than none. We might as well check it out."
This time it was Dewey who was following Louie closely when they began down the path. Hughy being faced with staying behind all alone and walking down the creepy path, chose the less lonely choice.

The Three Little Pigs of NIMH (part 1)
Once upon a time there lived three little pigs. These weren’t normal pigs. They weren’t the type that you see eating out of a trough at a farm. They’re smart pigs. Before they escaped, they lived at a science lab owned by NIMH. NIMH, The National Institute for Mental Health, helps create cures for mental diseases. The scientists used the pigs to test possible cures for Alzheimers. An extraordinary byproduct of one such test left the pigs with an increased brain capacity. The pigs’ brain capacity was increased ten-fold so now they have the mental capabilities of an eight year old. Because of their new abilities they were capable of learning how to open doors and escape. And so our story begins...
